Hi!

I’ve been testing the new blender tracker  and works amazingly!

I’ve used a footage provided by Colin Levy (Thanks!! :D )

First, I’ve pre-processed the footage removing the green and red channel, and adding some contrast:

Then, I’ve loaded the new footage inside Blender, set the “Camera Preset” as “Red One 4k”, and I’ve added some tracks manually. But at the end I’ve used “Detect Features” tool, that works perfectly.

Then I’ve done some test to set the Camera Focal Length, I can see the shot is very angular, so I tried values under 20mm. With 16mm the dots become green after the “Camera Solve” so I know that 16mm is close enough to the real camera Focal Length. Then I’ve deleted some tracks with the “Clean Tracks” option setting “Frames” to 20 and “Error” to 2.

Adding T-Rex

Adding T-Rex

Then I’ve searched on Blendswap some nice model to add to the Scene, I’ve found this T-Rex by Utopianqn

I’ve quickly composed it, using a “Ghosts” Glare to hide a bit the effect, and hit render :P

And here is the “final” shot:

  1. que formato de video utilizaste por que el video no corre a la hora de trabajarlo y ya probe varios formatos y no jala

  2. Hola Alexis, si no me equivoco usé PNG. Creo que JPG no me andaba.
Pero estuve probando y en las últimas versiones andan los dos formatos.

  3. buenas, como has eliminado los canales del video?,con blender?,gracias
